Born in Colombia, Johan Emanuel found himself naturally drawn to and skilled in the art of appearance enhancement at an early age. Over the years, he has carefully developed his innate expertise in makeup, color, and form in order to devote his life to helping others feel good about themselves – his primary goal. Johan has spent most of his career designing and coaching for the modeling and entertaining industry.   Within his work, we can mention catalogs, photo shootings, makeup and hair for beauty contexts, fashion shows in New York and abroad, as well as consulting actresses to achieve a cutting- edge look for their career.

As president and chief stylist of Salon Azul, Johan Emanuel strongly believes that a large part of his success has resulted from his ability to produce the right look for each client based on his or her "type," or personality, in addition to physical attributes. There is no chance to be unhappy when you get what you wanted.
